Trauma Healing Ministry with The Sancutary International
The "Healing the Wounds of Trauma: How the Church Can Help" programme is a curriculum which has been in use for over 20 years. It is now offered in over 100 countries and has be translated into over 150 languages.

Within The Sanctuary International, we have trained facilitators who are able to run healing groups for your organisation for free. In addition to this service, we are also able to train individuals to become facilitators. We can also support you to help you to set up a trauma healing ministry within your church/organisation.

Trauma Healing Awareness Training for Ministry
Would you like to flow in your ministry with an understanding of the impact trauma can have on the people you work with?
This half day workshop explores the causes of trauma, its impact and how to work effectively with people who may be suffering from trauma.​
​
The course also includes an opportunity to reflect on your organisation and review how trauma informed your practice is currently.
Trauma Healing Facilitator Training
Would you like to be able to help others recover from trauma?
This 22 hour course introduces you to the "Healing the Wounds of Trauma: How the Church can Help" program and equips you with the skills to be able to facilitate your own healing groups.​

Upon completion, each facilitator will be provided with a mentor to support them as the embark on the final stages of becoming a fully certified healing facilitator.
Facilitator Mentoring & Community of Practice
Training as a facilitator is only the beginning!
The Sanctuary International offers mentoring for all facilitators who have taken part in their training courses.​
​
In addition, we also run a community of practice which enables facilitators to meet regularly to share good practice, network, pray for each other and build lasting relationships.

The Sanctuary International offers a bespoke development program for churches/organisations to establish their trauma healing ministries.​

Support can include training and certifying facilitators, mentoring facilitators, as well providing ongoing training for facilitators if needed.
